Police Warn of Road Closures in the Caldwells on Saturday Due to Race

Several roads in Caldwell and West Caldwell will be closing on Saturday to accommodate the Caldwell-West Caldwell Education Foundation’s first 5K Run for Education.

According to the Caldwell Police Department, starting at 8:30 and ending around 11:30 a.m., road closures and detours will be in place on Westville Avenue and Brookside Avenue. Any resident living in the Cedars section of town should enter and exit the Cedars through Cleveland Road where a traffic officer will assist them.

In a Nixle message, Caldwell police warned motorists to use extra caution if traveling in the area.

The West Caldwell Police Department also issued a traffic warning, stating that the entire length of Westville Avenue will be closed on Saturday from 8:30 to around 11:30 a.m.
