Restaurant News: Rose Serving Up Tapas Menu

Caldwell restaurant starts offering small plates, has Mardi Gras menu in the works for next month.

s menu is getting smaller—in a good way. Starting Tuesday, Jan. 17, the Caldwell eatery will begin offering a tapas menu all day Sunday through Thursday in addition to its regular menu.

The "small plates" menu will include Spanish-inspired dishes, as well as flavors from Portugal, France, Italy, Morocco and the Middle East.

The restaurant will also be offering live entertainment on Thursday nights. Shows start at 7 p.m. Upcoming acts include: The Kootz on Fat Tuesday, Bob De Vos on Valentine’s night, The Tu Tones and more.

Next month, Mardi Gras comes to Rose with a special Cajun/Creole menu. The menu will be offered from Friday, Feb. 17 through Tuesday, Feb. 21. It will include a large selection of New Orleans favorites like, Cajun Popcorn, Jambalaya, Crawfish Etouffe, Gumbo and many, many more traditional favorites.

Rose recently announced new winter hours, Tuesday through Thursday, noon to 9 p.m.; Friday and Saturday, noon to 10 p.m.; Sunday, 1 to 8 p.m. The restaurant will be closed on Mondays, but will open for parties of 25 or more.
