Roadway Paving In Caldwell Will Close Nearby Streets, Traffic Delays Expected

CALDWELL, NJ — Roadway paving will be taking place on two upcoming days in Caldwell, the borough says.

The Caldwell Police Department shared an advisory ahead of the construction work, which is scheduled for Monday, Oct. 26 and Tuesday, Oct. 27.

“These roadways will be closed at times during paving operations,” police said. “Motorists should anticipate traffic delays, follow posted detours, and use alternate routes when possible.”

Here’s where the work will take place:

Monday, October 26, 2026

• Oak Grove Road (Roseland Avenue to Argyll Road)
• Parkway East (Oak Grove Road to Parkway West)
• White Birch Terrace (Oak Grove Road to the town border)

Tuesday, October 27, 2026

• Oak Grove Road (Roseland Avenue to Argyll Road) – paving continues Thomas Street (Academy Road to Westville Avenue)
• Thomas Street (Academy Road to Westville Avenue)
