Robin Soprano's New Book, "A Soul Mate's Promise" A Treat for Romance and Paranormal Enthusiasts

Robin Soprano always possessed a wild imagination that far exceeded the simple life she led as a young woman growing up in Fairfield, New Jersey. In fact, her thoughts were as flavorful as the dishes prepared at the Italian home in which she was raised. Still, it took more than 30 years working as a hairdresser for her to finally realize her true gift – writing. The end result is her first book, a page-turning romantic thriller, “A Soul Mate’s Promise,” available now on Amazon.com, for Kindle and in paperback.

Set in an imaginary town in North Florida, the book follows the lives of a recently divorced woman, Gracie, and a war veteran named Salvatore who have a chance encounter and come to the realization that they had met in a past life. They had actually been in love for centuries. However, a series of vivid, recurring dreams haunt Gracie and threaten to break the couple apart for good. A riveting romance thriller that hinges on erotica and delves into the paranormal, “A Soul Mate’s Promise” is a page-turner.

In a way, the book resembles Soprano’s own journey towards becoming an author. After all, during a bout with loneliness and depression, she experienced a re-awakening of her own that drew her to writing. It all started with an encounter with a psychic.

“I would wake up in the morning and think to myself, I hate my life,” Soprano said. “Every day I was doing something that I had no desire to do and I was not happy. Then one day, I sat down with this psychic and she was telling me about myself. She told me that I was an old soul…and that is how I came up with the idea. I started writing and ended up with ‘A Soul Mate’s Promise.’

Soprano stated that writing the book was a long and emotional process for her, because the storyline had so much in common with her own life. However, the overall theme fits perfectly with her mindset and present state as a happily married woman.

“I think that is what makes the book so great, even for me,” she said. “The overall message is a positive one. It encourages you to believe in true love.”

2015 promises to be a very active and successful year for Soprano as she aims to promote her novel and make appearances at various venues across the country for book signings and speaking engagements. Back in April, she was a featured author at the Book Obsessed Babes Author Event at the Omni Hotel & Resort in Jacksonville. Now, she is holding events for readers around Florida.

Moving forward, Soprano has another novel planned for release at the end of the year, and several others in her arsenal that consist of mystery, romance, adult fairy tale and paranormal stories.

“Readers of my books will definitely get some great, entertaining stories from me. I can’t wait for them to read this book and also see what I currently have in the works. My goal is to produce work that everyone can enjoy and I definitely hope my peers in Fairfield and across New Jersey will support me. ”
