Seeing Eye Dog Brings Awareness To Caldwells
The Rotary Club of the Caldwells hosted one of its furriest-ever guests: Charlie the Lab.

CALDWELLS, NJ — The Rotary Club of the Caldwells recently hosted one of its furriest-ever guests: Charlie the Lab.
During its meeting on Nov. 27, Donald McCowen of Morristown-based The Seeing Eye Inc. paid a visit to the club as guest speaker.
According to a news release, The Seeing Eye breeds and raises puppies to become Seeing Eye dogs, trains Seeing Eye dogs to guide blind people, instructs blind people in the proper use, handling, and care of the dogs and conducts and wires research on canine health and development.
