'Tea and the Mad Hatter' Tribute Comes To West Caldwell Library
A food historian will offer a tea lecture in honor of the 150th Anniversary of "Alice 's Adventures in Wonderland."

In honor of the 150th Anniversary of ”Alice ’s Adventures in Wonderland” by Lewis Carroll, Food Historian and Certified Tea Specialist Judith Krall-Russo will present a lecture titled “Tea and the Mad Hatter“ on Sunday, Sept. 20 at 2 p.m. in the Community Room of the West Caldwell Public Library, 30 Clinton Road.
Krall-Russo will lecture about the history and importance of tea as well as tea etiquette in Victorian England. Participants will also learn what is meant by Afternoon Tea, High Tea, Royal Tea, and Cream Tea.
Lewis Carroll‘s social commentary on the absurd etiquette of the times will also be discussed.

Participants that come wearing a ”fabulous hat” may win a prize, according to a release.
