Turkey, Food Drive In Caldwell Will Benefit Nearby Neighbors

A turkey and Thanksgiving food drive in Caldwell will benefit the local community, as well as locations in East Orange and Newark.

CALDWELL, NJ — A turkey and Thanksgiving food drive in Caldwell will benefit the local community, as well as locations in East Orange and Newark.

According to a news release from organizers, the drive will collect items such as frozen turkeys, ham and other food items from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 20. Gift cards for nonperishables are also welcome.

Donations will be accepted at the foyer of Trinity Academy behind St Aloysius Church, 219 Bloomfield Avenue in Caldwell. Volunteers will be present to take donations out of cars.

“We will share with our local community first, then Our Lady Help of Christian’s in East Orange and St John’s Soup Kitchen in Newark,” organizers wrote.
