Two Burglaries Reported in Caldwell
Police advising residents to keep doors and windows locked.

Two Caldwell homeowners reported burglaries on Wednesday, according to Caldwell Police Det. Sgt. Anthony Marta.
Residents of 4 Hillside Ave. and 70 Smull Ave. told police they came home early Wednesday afternoon to find their front doors left open and their bedrooms ransacked.
Marta said the burglar or burglars entered both homes through rear, first floor windows which were left unlocked by the homeowners. In both homes, Marta said, pillowcases were removed from bedroom pillows and used to carry away the stolen items.
