Caldwell High Students Accepted Into State Mixed Chorus

Freshman Meredith Donlin and sophomore Nicole Bruno join elite group.

West Caldwell, NJ – May 14, 2014 – Two singers from James Caldwell High School (JCHS), West Caldwell, have been named to the 2014 NJ All-State Mixed Chorus. Both Alto Is, freshman Meredith Donlin and sophomore Nicole Bruno auditioned for the chorus in April, with Donlin placing 13th for Alto Is in the state.

"I am so proud of these girls, their willingness to audition, and their acceptance into the mixed chorus,” stated Elsie Timpson, JCHS Choral Director.  “Auditioning with so many talented students takes confidence and courage, and they both performed beautifully.”

The mixed Chorus will perform with conductor Dr. Peggy Dettwiler of Mansfield University, and rehearsals begin in June 2014, with a performance date Sunday, November 16, in Atlantic City, NJ.
