Unknown Repair Time After Power Outage In Caldwell: Officials
A power outage and downed lines closed part of Mountain Avenue in Caldwell, authorities said.

CALDWELL, NJ — A power outage and downed lines closed part of Mountain Avenue in Caldwell on Friday, authorities said.
The Caldwell Police Department issued the following advisory at 11:48 a.m.:
“Mountain Avenue will be closed to traffic between Hatfield Street in Caldwell and Glenview Road in North Caldwell from 11 a.m. to an undetermined time on this date due to down power lines and utility pole. PSE&G has been notified and is on scene at this time.”

“Residents in the immediate area will experience a power outage. PSE&G is working on getting the power restored as quickly as possible. If there are emergency circumstances where you need power immediately please contact the Caldwell Police Department. We urge residents to please be careful traveling to and from your residence in the road closure area and to stay away from the damaged area. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.”
