Water Main Break In Caldwell Knocks Out Service, Now Restored

A water main break in Caldwell temporarily caused some headaches for residents living nearby, authorities announced Thursday.

CALDWELL, NJ — A water main break in Caldwell temporarily caused some headaches for residents living nearby, authorities announced Thursday.

The Caldwell Police Department issued the following advisory at 11:08 a.m.:

“Thomas Street will be closed from Westville Avenue to Florence Place for emergency water main repair. Residents in that area will be without water until the repairs are made. We will update residents when the repair is complete and the water service has been turned back on.”

The water on Thomas Street has been turned back on, authorities announced at 3:31 p.m.
