West Caldwell Basketball Players Collect 200 Coats for Jersey Cares

The girls and boys basketball teams worked together to collect coats for the West Caldwell Police Department's holiday coat drive.

The boys and girls basketball teams at James Caldwell High School teamed up this month to help the West Caldwell Police Department collect nearly 200 coats for those in need.

On Saturday, Dec. 13, team members gathered at the West Caldwell school to sort and pack the coats that were collected from the district’s six school buildings.

The coats were then delivered to the West Caldwell Police Department for distribution as part of the annual “Jersey Cares Coat Drive.” The Police Department’s coat drive will continue through Dec. 31, 2014.
