West Caldwell To Demolish Recreation Center, Report Says

West Caldwell, NJ – Say goodbye to the Recreation Center, West Caldwell.

During its public meeting last week, the West Caldwell Township Council and Mayor Joe Tempesta announced that plans are in motion to demolish the building at 5 Fairfield Road sometime this year, The Progress reported.

Mayor Joe Tempesta explained that the building was in “disrepair” and that it “makes financial sense to have it demolished,” The Progress stated.

The next meeting of the West Caldwell Governing body is slated for 7:15 p.m. on Feb. 2, at the West Caldwell Municipal Building’s Public Meeting Room.
