West Caldwell FD Kids Event: Future Firefighters Day
The West Caldwell children's event will include fire engine rides, refreshments, equipment demonstrations and safety tips.
WEST CALDWELL, NJ — The West Caldwell Fire Department will hold its annual "Future Firefighters Day" open house on Saturday, Oct. 13 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
According to a post from the WCFD, the event will take place at West Caldwell Fire Headquarters, 6 Fairfield Avenue. Parking will be available across from the firehouse.
Children of all ages are welcome to the free, public event. Activities will include:

- Try on firefighters’ gear
- Fire engine rides
- Spray the fire hose
- Fire equipment and truck demonstrations
