West Caldwell Football Star Plays For U.S. Team Against Canada

The West Caldwell youth is part of the Don Bosco Prepatory Class of 2019.

West Caldwell, NJ - Christian Dremel of West Caldwell (Don Bosco Prepatory Class of 2019) was selected to play on the 2016 U.S. Under-16 National Team, assembled by USA Football.

The team competed on Feb. 5 in the seventh annual International Bowl against Canadian national teams at AT&T Stadium, home of the Dallas Cowboys, in Arlington, Texas.

It was Dremel’s second year playing on the National Team; the football star played on the Under 15 U.S. Team at the 2015 Games.

According to a news release, the 2016 International Bowl was a collaboration of the sport’s national governing bodies in each country – USA Football and Football Canada – featuring top student-athletes in an annual international competition.
