West Caldwell Introduces Draft 2016 Town Budget: Taxes Would Rise Slightly
How much would the average West Caldwell homeowner's taxes increase under the proposed budget?

West Caldwell, NJ –West Caldwell township officials introduced a draft 2016 budget that would increase last year’s tax levy by 1.24 percent during their March 15 public meeting.
A homeowner with a property valued at $434,800 would see a $17 increase to the municipal portion of their local taxes, according to town officials.
The overall tax levy total would increase $147,766 from 2015 if the budget passes.

A public hearing for the 2016 budget will take place on Tuesday, April 19.
