West Caldwell Library To Host Halloween Pumpkin Decorating Contest
The theme for this year's pumpkin decorating contest at the West Caldwell Library is "Storybook Characters."

Time to show off your Halloween skills, West Caldwell.
The West Caldwell Public Library, 30 Clinton Road, will have a Pumpkin Decorating Contest on Friday, Oct. 30 at 4 p.m. in the Community Room.
The theme for the contest is “Storybook Characters.”

Adults, teens (ages 13-18) and children (ages 5 and older) can participate with a chance to win a prize. One prize will be awarded in each category.
The contest rules:

- Pumpkins can be painted or decorated with any materials, but cannot be carved or hollowed out.
- Pumpkins must not weigh more than 10 pounds either.
- Index cards must accompany the pumpkin with the storybook character’s name and the age of the contestant (if a child or teen.)
To obtain an entry Form or the contest rules, visit the Reference or Children’s Department at the library, or print the materials from the Library’s website http://wcplnj.org.
Entry forms must be submitted by 8 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 26. Pumpkins can be delivered to the library on Thursday, Oct. 29 after 4 p.m., or on Friday, Oct. 30 between 3 and 4 p.m.
Judging will be held at 4 p.m.
