In West Caldwell: Paper Shredding, Electronic Recycling Events For Local Residents

WEST CALDWELL, NJ — Get ready to shred, West Caldwell.

The West Caldwell Environmental Commission will host a community shredding event on Saturday, Sept. 19. The event will give local residents a chance to safely dispose of unwanted documents, while supporting a cleaner and more organized community. It will take place from 9 a.m. to noon at Cedar Street Pool.

Optional donations will be accepted to support the James Caldwell High School Scholarship Fund. Learn more here.

ELECTRONIC RECYCLING DAY

The Township of West Caldwell will also hold a free Electronic Recycling Day for local residents on Saturday, Sept. 26. The event will take place from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Westville Pool parking lot, 293 Westville Avenue. Learn more here.

Items that will be accepted for recycling include computers, servers, tablets, smart phones, printers, flat screen monitors, televisions, modems and routers, DVD players, iPods, toner cartridges, hard drives, keyboards, mice and other computer accessories.
