West Caldwell Playground Dedicated To Late Teens (VIDEO)
A West Caldwell nonprofit's new playground pays tribute to the memory of Adam Friedland and Patrick Long.

WEST CALDWELL, NJ — When the laughter of children rings out at the playground of the Intensive Therapeutics center in West Caldwell, it will help to ensure the memories of Adam Friedland and Patrick Long survive.
Earlier this month, the nonprofit held a dedication and ribbon-tearing ceremony to open their new playground, dubbed “Adam and Patrick’s Place” in memory of Friedland and Long, two teens who passed away last year.
The ceremony included a "ribbon-tearing" by the children of Camp Helping Hands, an all-day summer program for children with special needs. Other attendees included Adam and Patrick’s parents, West Caldwell Mayor Joe Tempesta, the West Caldwell Town Council, the West Caldwell Library’s director and librarian and the Intensive Therapeutics board of directors and staff.

The playground equipment was partially funded by a grant offered by KaBOOM! and the Dr. Pepper Snapple Group that was offered via a video contest. Intensive Therapeutics entered the video contest and took 5th place during the online voting. Watch the video below.
