West Caldwell Veteran Turns 95, Remembers Shipmates
A West Caldwell veteran of World War II recently celebrated his 95th birthday with a salute to his past shipmates.

WEST CALDWELL, NJ — A West Caldwell veteran of World War II recently celebrated his 95th birthday with a salute to his past shipmates.
Joseph Kinney of West Caldwell celebrated his 95th birthday at the James Caldwell Post 185 American Legion on Friday. Prior to blowing out the candles on his cake, Kinney took a minute to remember his shipmates who he served with.
While in the military, Kinney served as an electrician mate first class assigned to a submarine station in the Philippine Islands, according to an American Legion news release.
