The West Essex Art Association is pleased to announce our monthly meeting featuring a demonstration by New Jersey artist, Maryann Didriksen. Maryann will be doing a floral pastel painting demonstration. Join us on Wednesday, May 14, 2014 from 7:30-9:30PM at Crane's Mill Town Square, 459 Passaic Ave., West Caldwell, NJ in the Activity Room (lower level).

Maryann Didriksen is a contemporary artist working in pastel and oil. Before returning to painting full-time, Maryann worked as an Art Director and freelance graphic designer. She holds a BFA from Alfred University and is a signature member of the Pastel Society of New Jersey. Maryann is a member of ArtSpace Studio, Studio Montclair and The Center for Contemporary Art. In addition to painting she writes about her work and her struggle to balance art and life on her blog http://www.maryanndidriksenpainter.com/.
She lives and works in Rockaway Township, New Jersey.
