This West Essex High School student captured a prestigious National Merit scholarship for 2017.
NORTH CALDWELL, NJ — A West Essex High School student was named among the 2017 National Merit scholarship winners. Nationwide, 2,500 Merit Scholar designees were chosen from a talent pool of more than 15,000 high-achieving finalists in the 2017 National Merit Scholarship Program.

Isabel Parzecki of West Essex High School in North Caldwell earned a National Merit corporate scholarship from the Siemens Corporation. Parzecki's planned career is medicine.
