Woman Crashes Cadillac into West Caldwell Shop Rite
Significant damage done to building, but 82-year-old driver walks away uninjured.
An 82-year-old woman from West Caldwell crashed her Cadillac into the Shop Rite Supermarket on Passaic Avenue on Friday night, causing significant damage to the building but no reported injuries.
According to a report, West Caldwell police responding to the scene of the accident around 7:30 p.m. found the car crashed through the front store windows, and the woman dazed but uninjured.
The driver apparently lost control of her car prior to smashing into the store, police stated.
