CHATHAM, NJ — The Chatham Township Zoning Board of Adjustment will hold its regular meeting Wednesday, at 7:30 p.m. at the Municipal Building, with one active variance hearing on the agenda.
The board will take up an application from Pellegrino Mariconda of 15 Linden Lane, who is seeking a "C" variance from maximum building coverage requirements to add a portico over the front entrance of the home. A site visit is scheduled for June 6.
The board will also vote on a resolution granting an extension of time for a previously heard application at 82 Sunset Drive, and will adopt its 2025 annual report.
Two applications previously scheduled — from Kalpesh Shah at 616 River Road and Nitin Shah at 614 River Road — have been withdrawn without prejudice.
The board's next substantive hearing date is June 10, when it will take up applications from James and Melody Cooke of 739 Fairmount Ave., seeking variances for lot coverage and steep slope disturbance to construct a patio, retaining walls, and walkway; and Kevin Vee of 21 Peppermill Road, seeking a variance for an expansion to an existing non-conforming structure.
Also pending completeness review is an application from Tom and Susan Fuller of 769 Shunpike Road, seeking a use variance to add a dwelling unit over an existing barn — the most unusual application currently before the board.
The meeting will be held in person and via Zoom. The webinar ID is 885 6472 4424.
