CHATHAM BOROUGH, NJ — Chatham's annual Fishawack Festival returns Saturday, June 6, rain or shine, at Railroad South and Reasoner Park, with a full day of races, live music, food, vendors and family activities.
The day kicks off with a Chatham Jaycees 1-mile fun run from 9 to 10:30 a.m., followed by a 4-mile race from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Vendor and food booths open at 10 a.m. and run through 4 p.m.
Live music will run throughout the day on the Gazebo Stage, starting with Dance Innovations at 10 a.m., followed by the Chatham Community Band at 11 a.m., The Kootz at noon, The Timbre Men at 1:30 p.m., Kings Road Band at 3 p.m. and Peter and the Master Keys at 4:30 p.m.
A Kids Fun Zone, Madison Area YMCA games of chance and Montessori School games of chance will all run from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. An outdoor beer and wine garden in Reasoner Park will be open from noon to 6 p.m.
This year's festival will also feature a special appearance by the Morris County Traveling Mural Project, giving attendees the chance to paint a piece of local history. Play It Forward will also be on hand celebrating the launch of their Dunk Tank.
