Grobert Chatham Emergency Squad Scholarship for her strong volunteer record and plans to study nursing at Auburn University. The all-volunteer Chatham Emergency Squad, which provides free 24/7 basic life support and CPR training to residents, funded the award and is inviting new volunteers and donors to support its work.
3. Arps Nets Two Goals, Sets up Two Scores as Chatham Girls Soccer Triples its Scoring Output in 6-0 Mercy Win vs. Morristown (tapinto.net) — Chatham High's girls soccer team exploded for six goals in a mercy-rule win over Morristown at Haas Field, tripling its season scoring output. Junior midfielder Lucy Arps led the way with two goals and two assists, while three other Cougars also scored before a late breakaway finished the rout. The team next hosts West Morris on Saturday afternoon in Chatham.
4. New Year's Eve in NJ: Where to Celebrate This Year (shopmorriscounty.com) — Chatham restaurants are among those across Morris County planning special prix fixe New Year's Eve dinners that tend to book up by mid-December.
