CHATHAM, NJ — Chatham residents will have a chance to roll up their sleeves and donate blood this month.
The Chatham High School Red Cross Club is hosting a blood drive Monday, Oct. 12, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Gymnasium C at Chatham High School, 255 Lafayette Avenue.
The American Red Cross flyer says, "Every 2 seconds, someone in the U.S. needs blood."
Donors can schedule an appointment through RedCrossBlood.org using sponsor code ChathamHSARC or by calling 1-800-RED CROSS.
The flyer also encourages eligible O, B-negative or A-negative donors to consider a Power Red donation.
