• Chatham Borough Volunteer Fire Department Open House Combines Fun for Families and Training for Firefighters (TAPinto.net) — Families in Chatham Borough just got a close-up look at their volunteer fire department, with kids climbing aboard the refurbished Independent Hose Company truck while firefighters demonstrated how they safely cut open a crashed car. Fire Chief Peter Glogolich walked residents through each step of an extraction, turning the annual open house into both a neighborhood celebration and a serious safety lesson.
