CHATHAM, NJ — The Chatham High School Marching Band is giving residents a new way to support its students: shopping for a new mattress.
The band will host a one-day mattress fundraiser Saturday, Nov. 21, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in Chatham High School's "C" Gym.
Every purchase will benefit the marching band, according to a press release provided to Patch from Custom Fundraising Solutions, the company partnering with the school for the event.
The gym will become a mattress showroom featuring 25 styles in various sizes, with brands including Purple, Simmons Beautyrest and Therapedic.
Shoppers can also browse adjustable power bases, pillows, sheets, mattress protectors and CordaRoy's Convertible Chairs.
Prices start at $259, according to the event flyer. Financing and delivery are available, and products come with factory warranties.
Custom Fundraising Solutions says its mattress fundraising program has raised more than $70 million for schools and organizations nationwide.
The sale is open to the public.
