St. Patrick School Preschoolers Ride in Trike-a-Thon for St. Jude’s Hospital

The Preschool classes at St Patrick School participated in a trike-a-thon to raise money to help kids with cancer and other catastrophic diseases. The annual trike-a-thon combines a safety curriculum and fund raiser to benefit St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

The PreK 3 and 4 classes obtained pledges from family and friends for participating in the event, with all money going to St. Jude’s Hospital. Last year students raised over $1,000.

In addition to helping other kids, and learning the importance of volunteering and helping others, the students received important riding toy safety lessons through a curriculum provided by St. Jude’s. The Preschoolers were assisted on the day of the event by their sixth grade buddies and a good time was had by all!
