Wednesday, February 10, marks the beginning of the season of Lent, a time during which we reflect on the meaning of Jesus’ death on the cross even as we anticipate the joy of his resurrection. Ash Wednesday is a day to remember that we are human. The cross of ashes marked on our foreheads reminds us of our mortality and our frailty, but we also remember that we are claimed by God and washed in God’s mercy and forgiveness.
Please join us for worship on Ash Wednesday. Give yourself the gift of this time of reflection and a reminder of God’s presence and pardon.
