Attempted Luring In Chatham Wednesday Night
Two girls, ages seven and eight, were unharmed in the incident.

CHATHAM, NJ— Police are asking residents for more information after a man attempted to lure two girls into his car.
According to police, the man approached two girls, ages seven and eight, outside 32 Jackson Ave just before 6 p.m. on Wednesday.
The girls told police the man offered them a ride home, and said what sounded like, "Do you know where Barnabas is?" The girls ran away screaming to one of their homes, and the car drove eastbound on Jackson Ave.

Police described the man as an older Asian man with salt and pepper hair. He was driving a smaller white or gray SUV and wearing a blue jacket.
