CALLing Adult Learners to Library of The Chathams!

Library of The Chathams is initiating a program of exciting, continuing education courses for adults at the library.

At the request of Chatham Borough and Chatham Township residents, Library of The Chathams is initiating a program of exciting, continuing education courses for adults at the library.

Chatham Adult Lifeworks Learning (CALL) program will offer courses in art, music, history, and current events. This Friends of the Library initiative is partly funded by the Friends. Because all courses will be taught by subject area specialists and local college faculty, registrants are asked to pay $40 toward tuition for each four week session.

This four part series on Ludwig Van Beethoven will be led by Maestro Robert W. Butts, 2015 Honored Artist by the American Prize for excellence in all areas of musical education and performance. Join him on Tuesdays, May 10, 17, 24, and 31 from 10 to 11 am. A $40 tuition fee is required by May 6 (please make checks payable to Friends of the Library of The Chathams).

French Impressionism: Techniques and Influence

Michael Norris, Ph.D., has been an art educator at the Metropolitan Museum of Art for over 20 years. He will present a four part series on French Impressionism on Tuesdays, May 10, 17, 24, and 31 from 11:15 am to 12:15 pm. A $40 tuition fee is required by May 6 (please make checks payable to Friends of the Library of The Chathams).
