Celebrate Happiness In Chatham Eatery Wednesday
Sorriso Kitchen, the restaurant that supports students with special needs, are celebrating with food specials and giveaways Wednesday.
CHATHAM, NJ - Sorriso Kitchen is bringing the International Day of Happiness celebration to Chatham Wednesday from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. with food specials and giveaways.
"Our tagline at Sorriso Kitchen is EAT HAPPY, so when we heard about the International Day of Happiness being March 20, we couldn’t miss an opportunity to celebrate.” said Karen Bellas one of the eatery’s owners. “So many of our customers have told us how happy they are we’re here.”
Sorriso Kitchen will treat guests to a day of “happiness,” including some of these events:

- A portion of the day’s proceeds will be donated to ECLC of NJ (Education, Careers and Lifelong Community for Children and Adults with Special Needs) in Chatham
- Greetings and giveaways of smiles and flowers by the ECLC students
- First 25 guests who wear yellow will receive a free gift
- Smile surprises and giveaways throughout the day
At night, Sorriso Kitchen will be transformed as Culinary Institute of America-trained Executive Chef Ryan Chatfield prepares dinner featuring a modern, creative twist on feel-good, comfort foods. There will also be live guitar music. Dinner event is by reservation only and space is limited.

Sorriso Kitchen serves breakfast and lunch 6 days a week as well as catering and private events. On Mondays, Sorriso Kitchen is closed to serve as a teaching classroom for ECLC of NJ to train it’s students in the service industry. For more information, call 973-665-8068.
