Chatham 4th Of July Fireworks: 2019 Guide, Scheduled Time

CHATHAM, NJ – July 4th is quickly approaching, which means it's time to fire up that barbecue and find out what Fourth of July fireworks and festivities are going on near you this Independence Day.

We gathered up all the fireworks shows, parades and festivals happening in and around town so you can start planning now.

Here's what's in store this July 4th in Chatham:

• What: Chatham Borough's annual 4th of July celebration
• Where: Chatham Middle School
• When: Thursday, July 4, gates open at 7 p.m., fireworks after dusk.

To kick off the celebration, there will be a Flag Raising at 9:15 a.m. at the CFD followed by a parade at 10:30 a.m. on July 4th. The parade starts at Hillside Ave/Main Street.

Fireworks at will begin at dusk at Chatham Middle School. The gates open at the middle school at 7 p.m. for live music and fun.

Fourth of July weather forecast:

Independence Day (Thursday): A slight chance of showers before 11am, then a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. Mostly sunny, with a high near 88. Calm wind becoming southeast 5 to 7 mph in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 20 percent.
