Chatham Academic Team Takes Top Prize At JFK Tournament

CHATHAM, NJ - The Chatham High School Academic Team A placed first in the John F. Kennedy High School Academic Tournament on Dec.

The Chatham A Team includes Katherine Wang as captain, with teammates Nareg Panossian, McKenzie Golden, and Suhaib Iqbal.

“I'm really happy that all of our intellectual passions and hard work has paid off. It's hard for any team when people graduate, and there are big shoes to fill. But everyone's been stepping up to and exceeding expectations, and I'm so proud to lead and captain such a team,"resident of the CHS Academic Team Club and Captain of the A Team Katherine Wang said. " We have such a good sense of camaraderie and spirit while also knowing that we can depend on each other, and our diverse talent pool has, and hopefully will continue, to do us well as our season progresses.”

The teams that made the playoffs in this tournament include:

Chatham B Team:

Chatham C Team:

Chatham E Team:
