Chatham Boro Cops Arrest Two On Outstanding Warrants
Danely Cadeau and Alexus Ward-Rood were taken into custody after a traffic stop.

CHATHAM, NJ - A motor vehicle stop for an expired inspection sticker resulted in the arrest of the driver and passenger on Thursday, according to the Chatham Borough Police Department.
According to police, Officer Matthew Belcastro initiated a motor vehicle after witnessing a car with an expired inspection sticker. A customary check of the driver, 26-year-old Danely Cadeau of Orange, and the passenger, 25-year-old Alexus Ward-Rood of Newark, showed that both had active arrest warrants, police said.
Cadeau had two active contempt of court warrants issued by the Municipality of Hamilton Township and Ward-Rood had an active contempt of court warrant issued from Newark, police said.

Cadeau was also driving with a suspended license, police said.
Both parties were transported to police headquarters for processing. The Hamilton Township and Newark courts were contacted and released both on their own recognizance pending court appearances, police said.
