Chatham Borough Cars Burglarized Wednesday: Police
Police say multiple cars were broken into on the south side of town.
CHATHAM, NJ - The Chatham Borough Police Department is reminding residents that locking their cars and removing valuables is a needed step as a spate of car burglaries were reported during the overnight hours of May 30.
According to authorities, residents from south side of town reported that their vehicles had been unlawfully entered.
The common denominator in the thefts is that all vehicles were left unsecure at the time of the break-ins, police said. The Chatham Borough Police Department stressed that it is crucial that residents lock their cars and remove any valuables from within.
