Chatham Borough Man Arrested On Two Active Warrants: Police

Timothy Williamson was wanted in both Essex and Morris County, police said.

CHATHAM, NJ - A 29-year-old Chatham Borough man was arrested and jailed on an active warrant, according to the Chatham Borough Police Department.

Timothy Williamson was arrested on July 14 by Officers Joseph Crecca and Matt Belcastro
on an active no bail warrant issued by Essex County Superior Court, police said.

He was taken into custody at his home and transported to Police Headquarters for processing where a customary check uncovered an additional contempt of court warrant issued by the Municipality of Tinton Falls, police said. The court was contacted and released Williamson pending a court appearance.

The Morris County warrant for Williamson was a no bail warrant, police said and he was transported to the Morris County Correctional Facility and incarcerated.
