Chatham Cops Collar Fake Check Casher: Borough Police
Ronald Averette was charged with forgery, Chatham Borough Police said.
CHATHAM, NJ - A 20-year-old Philadelphia, Pa., man was arrested and charged with theft by deception and forgery after cashing some phony checks, according to the Chatham Borough Police Department.
According to authorities, Detective Andrew Chase arrested Ronald Averette after investigation in which Averette allegedly created and then
cashed fraudulent checks at a Chatham Borough bank.
Chase was notified by the Morris County Fugitive Unit that Averette had been taken into custody and was now incarcerated in Morris County Correctional Facility, police said.

Detective Chase responded to the Correctional Facility and processed Mr. Averette for the crime.
