Chatham Day School Expansion Hearing Continues

School wants to build additional parking spots on its property and wants to expand its existing facilities.

Chatham Day School representatives continue to go before the township Zoning Board of Adjustment to request variances to build new structures and parking spaces on the school's property.

The Board of Adjustment held a special hearing on the matter Wednesday night.

The private, K-8 school wants to add about 50 parking spots to the 79 that already exist on the property. It also wants to demolish three buildings on the 15-acre property and construct a new one to house a gymnasium.
