Chatham Emergency Squad Open House to Welcome New Ambulance

Join us this Saturday to Welcome our New Ambulance!

Residents are invited to an Open House this Saturday, October, 22, 2016 at 45 Spring Street, Chatham, NJ as the Chatham Emergency Squad welcomes its brand, new ambulance! Please join members of the Emergency Squad, Police, Fire Departments and both Borough and Township officials anytime from noon to 4PM as the new ambulance #87 makes its first appearance.

Volunteer members of the Chatham Emergency Squad will be on site ready to get to know Chatham residents and answer any questions you may have. Residents may tour the Emergency Squad building (one of 2) and even peak inside the new ambulance. It’s a great chance to show the public our facility, our ambulances and equipment. During the school year we host many events for school children and Scouts and it is always fun for kids (and adults) to see what we do!

Getting a new ambulance is a significant event in the Chatham Emergency Squad’s 80 year history and this new rig (ambulance) # 87 will replace the retiring ten year old rig # 87. The Chatham Emergency Squad operates with 3 ambulances and has enough volunteer members to handle 3 simultaneous emergencies.

So, come on out this Saturday to 45 Spring Street anytime between noon and 4 and say hello!
