Chatham Emergency Squad Recognized with Significant Donation
An article about The Greater Lafayette Classic and the Chatham Emergency Squad

The Greater Lafayette Classic Sponsorship Committee awarded the Chatham Emergency Squad $1,000 to support the work of the all volunteer organization. The Greater Lafayette Classic is a New Jersey nonprofit corporation which runs an annual golf tournament to raise funds to support Chatham students and various nonprofit and charitable organizations such as Chatham Bridging the Gap, the Senior Center of the Chathams and the Chatham Fire Department. The 25 year old Lafayette Classic organization is comprised of Chatham residents. The net proceeds from this year’s tournament will go to scholarships for Chatham High School students as well as local organizations such as the Chatham Emergency Squad. The check was awarded by Jeff Hale and Thomas Fitzpatrick to Chatham Emergency Squad President, Rich Crater (pictured here).
The Chatham Emergency Squad (CES) is an all volunteer organization comprised of state certified EMTs (Emergency Medical Technicians). CES is largely funded by donations. Visit www.chathamemergencysquad.org to donate or learn more.
The 24th annual Greater Lafayette Classic will be held on Friday, October 7, 2016, once again at Fox Hollow Golf Club, 59 Fox Chase Run, Branchburg, NJ 08876. The event includes golf, cart, prizes and dinner awards presentations. For more information please reply to goelston@yahoo.com.
