Chatham Residents Will Run For Their Turkey At 6th Annual Turkey Trot

As a kick-off to the Holiday Season The Chatham Turkey Trot (TheChathamTurkeyTrot.org)
will host its 6th Annual Thanksgiving Day Turkey Trot in the Highlands section of Chatham
Township, NJ.

Proceeds of the race will benefit the Chatham Township Volunteer Fire Department and the Diabetes Research Institute. In 2013, more than 600 runners participated, helping to raise more than $15,000 for these two organizations.

WHEN: Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 27, 2014

WHERE: The Highlands section of Chatham Township at the corner of Seminole Way and 110 Van Houton Avenue.

Before November 17th at 5:00 p.m. -

• You must register and submit payment before November 17th at 5:00 PM to receive a T-shirt.
• 1 Mile Family Fun Run: $15/person
• USA Track & Field Certified 5K Race: $20/person
• Race Day: $25/person for all races
• Make checks payable to “The Chatham Turkey Trot”

SCHEDULE:

• 8:00 AM – Race Day Registration/warm-ups
• 8:30 AM – 1 Mile Family Fun Run
• 9:00 AM – Program/National Anthem - USA Track & Field Certified 5K Race
• 9:50 AM – Award ceremony follows the conclusion of the race
