Chatham Restaurants Celebrate America's 250th With Patriotic Specials

The patriotic offerings provide residents and visitors with a way to commemorate the nation's 250th while supporting local businesses.

CHATHAM, NJ — As excitement builds for America's 250th anniversary, several Chatham businesses are serving up limited-time patriotic menu items inspired by the nation's history.

Pascarella Brothers Delicatessen is featuring a trio of America 250-themed specials, including The George Washington, made with Virginia ham on toasted cornbread with goat cheese and roasted peaches; The Filippo Mazzei, featuring hickory smoked salami, cheddar, lettuce, and olive tapenade on a grain roll; and Nathaniel Bonnell's Colonial Peanut Soup.

Meanwhile, Fleur de Sel Patisserie Bistro is offering festive desserts by preorder, including Limited Edition Freedom Macarons and a 250th Stars and Stripes Berry Tart.

Coffee lovers can also join the celebration at TM WARD Coffee, which is serving Stars and Stripes White Chocolate, Raspberry, and Blueberry Coffee alongside America 250, the company's oldest and best-selling premium Arabica blend, described as smooth, rich, and mellow.
