Chatham Takes A Stand Against Solicitors

Chatham Township and Chatham Borough have a 'Do Not Knock' ordinance in effect.

CHATHAM, NJ - Chatham Township and Chatham Borough are committing to help preserve the quiet for residents with the implementation of a "Do Not Knock Registry."

Residents who are interested can sign up on the Chatham Township website and the Chatham Borough website.

Those who sign up will be on a list to not receive commercial solicitations. The list of homes will be given to any licensed solicitor and no sticker is necessary, officials said.
