Chatham Township Swears In A New Sergeant

CHATHAM, NJ - Chatham Township Police Officer Anthony Loporto was promoted to Sergeant during last Thursday's meeting of the Chatham Township Committee.

LoPorto had his new shield pinned on him by wife Laura, who joined him in the ceremony with sons Cole and Austin.

Sgt. LoPorto was sworn in by Deputy Mayor Mike Kelly. LoPorto's new duties include supervising the patrol division. LoPorto has been a member of Chatham Township's finest for eight years.
