Please show your community spirit, join your neighbors and meet your community volunteers at this years National Night Out at the Chatham Township Volunteer Fire Department at their Fire Headquarters located at 495 River Road on Tuesday, August 5th from 6:30 pm until 10:00pm.
Since 1984, this national event is meant to increase awareness about our police and other local community programs such as drug prevention, neighborhood watch, and other anti-crime efforts.
Fire Department members will supply music, grills and soda. As always there will be a special appearance by McGruff, the Crime Dog. This family fun event truly lets people get a chance to interact with their neighbors, local volunteers and it gives the children a chance to explore the Fire House, check out the fire trucks and try on the gear that the firemen use to protect themselves when they respond to our communities calls.
