Chatham's Colony Pool Looks To Open June 30

Chatham Borough residents will see their surcharge waived.

CHATHAM, NJ - Chatham's Colony Pool is continuing preparations to open now that Gov. Phil Murphy's COVID-19 restrictions have eased, according to officials.

Colony Pool is currently mapping out a grid system that will allow up to 190 members to maintain social distancing while escaping the heat of summer, officials said. The pool staff is gearing up and Department of Public Works crews are on site, all working toward a target opening date of June 30.

Membership fees are being pro-rated to reflect the delay from what would have been the normal opening date of June 22, officials said.
