Chatham's CSM Art And Frame Turns 25

CHATHAM, NJ - Later this Fall, CSM Art & Frame, located at 295 Main Street, is celebrating a quarter century.

Throughout the season, the gallery will hold different events, tempting the palates of residential clients, corporate customers, and interior designers alike, according to owner Caryn Krueger.

The cornerstone of the festivities will be the CSM Market Lot to be held on Oct. 12 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. with a rain date Oct. 13. Krueger is curating a group of local artists, designers, and merchants to gather for the community-wide celebration. Shoppers can expect to peruse artwork, jewelry, vintage goods, home solutions, textiles and more.

Krueger said she is is excited to mark this momentous anniversary, and share it with those who have helped the gallery flourish over the years.

“I began my solo career by doing in-home consultations and bringing art to clients through my ‘mobile gallery,’" Krueger said. "To think that since then, CSM has grown to be in a permanent, multi-level space in Chatham, with clients and designers visiting us six days a week – it really has fulfilled every vision that I had early in my career.”

In the coming months, CSM will host several pop-up events including a photography exhibition made up of images shot by students from SCAD in Savannah, Ga. This is an opportunity to see the work of emerging artists and new talent which is something that Krueger loves to bring to the gallery. And, as always, leading up to the holidays, CSM’s display will include smaller works and affordable art, perfect for gift-giving.

CSM is a distinguished art and framing gallery in Chatham, New Jersey. Their collection consists of unique artwork on canvas and paper, sculpture, photography and mixed media. The showroom, which is located in a three-story carriage house, is home to over 6,000 frame samples and is open to both interior designers and the general public. Specialized services are offered for corporate and residential clients, and include custom framing, art consultation, installation and appraisals.
